How to: Download selective pieces of information from the smartdirector led cluster

Steps to follow

This is what you will see

Step 1.                                                         

Login to the smartdirector of the cluster and click on Admin Tools from the Applications menu.

Step 2.                                                         

Under the Cluster Data section, enter in the default admin account credentials and click on Select & Download Data button as shown.

Step 3.                                                          

You will see a page with all the appliances that are part of the cluster (including the smartdirector). 

Select the specific checkboxes for the information that you would like to gather from any of the appliances. Unless requested by wtec's Technical Support team, in most cases, Statistics will not be needed, so it is OK to not include it. 

After all the selections have been made, click on the Download Selected Data button below on the page.

• This action will download a file called… 

ClusterDataFor_<smartDirector name>(<smartdirector IP>)_XXXXXXXXXXXX.tgz 

It is a compressed file. 

Note: This can be a fairly large file, so your patience is requested with this download.

Step 4.                                                          

Send this compressed file to the requester for review.
